PMCRH Volunteers Celebration of Lights

For the 17th year, the PMCRH Volunteers will host their annual "Celebration of Lights" campaign.

The "Celebration of Lights" event was created in an effort to raise funds to benefit patients, visitors, and the community. This is also a great opportunity to share the spirit of the holiday season with friends, family, and neighbors while honoring or remembering someone special. This year's proceeds will go toward the maintenance of the PMCRH Memorial Garden and future PMCRH Volunteers projects. The donations are tax deductible as a contribution to the PMCRH Foundation.

The ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital (PMCRH) volunteers appreciate the continued support of the community over the years. That support has played an important part in the success of such events as "Celebration of Lights." "The Celebration of Lights is an important project for the PMCRH Volunteers," said Judy Elliott, event chair. "It gives members of our community a chance to remember and honor loved ones, while donating to an ongoing memorial." Through this project, the Garden of Hope and Memorial Garden continue to help patients, families, and staff in times of turmoil or stress.

By making a donation to light the special holiday tree located by the main entrance of PMCRH, a message of love will be shared with the entire community. A program will be held on December 6, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the PMCRH Community Care and Conference Center to celebrate the lighting of the tree and to read names of all loved ones being honored and remembered. The "Celebration of Lights" tree will be decorated entirely in blue lights in contrast to all of the other holiday lights on the PMCRH campus, which are white. At the end of the program, the special tree will be lit. Guests will be able to view the lighting of the tree via a live video feed along with an additional tree being lit inside the conference center. All PMCRH holiday lights will be lit during this event and will remain on during the holiday season.
