Our ER has state-of-the-art techniques and equipment to help you with your emergency. The Community Health Center of Branch County's (CHC) Emergency Department sees more than 25,000 patients a year. The Emergency Department partners with the Stroke Care Now Network in Fort Wayne, IN by telemedicine. This gives the ability to consult a neurologist quickly and get the patient having an acute stroke where they need to be in a very timely manner. CHC also has an excellent history of working closely with both Borgess and Bronson Methodist Hospital on cases requiring services CHC does not provide.
Emergency Physicians Medial Group (EPMG)is contracted with CHC to provide emergency medicine physicians for the department. EPMG is committed to improving wait times and customer satisfaction. Physicians work hand-in-hand with staff on these issues and on quality improvement initiatives. EPMG's medical director and emergency physicians work cooperatively with hospital administration, nursing, and the medical staff to create a cohesive patient-oriented team delivering excellent care.
Established in 1976, EPMG provides physician staffing and management services across the Mid-West and Mid-Atlantic states for emergency departments, urgent care centers, occupational medicine practices, clinical decision units, and hospitalist programs. EPMG physicians treat more than 425,000 patients in Emergency Departments across Michigan and over 850,000 nationally each year. EPMG is based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
